Our mission, should you decide to accept it, will be to let everyone know about August 22, 2008. That day will be the first Annual We Are Fed
Up Day. You, as a volunteer can help us spread the word to your family, at work, children’s sporting events or any other gathering. We will send the message to Washington that We Are Fed Up. In order to have an impact this message has to have the following:



1.    It must be a massive show of unity.
2.    It has to cross both party and racial lines.  This is not about red or blue nor is it about black or white.  This is about a county with a population of nearly three hundred million people (300,000,000) telling their state and federal elected officials that we have had enough and that we are going to hold them accountable.
3.    It must be peaceful and respectful of others and not break any of our laws.

 So what are we going to do? Let's see now, how about not gassing up on a certain day. You know, those emails we all get that tell us not to put gas in our cars next Friday. This is just plain nonsense. The oil companies laugh at us because they know that we will have to gas up on Thursday or the following day. This sends no message at all.

Let's not go to work on August 22, 2008. Let's shut down the country. That's a little radical but it would send a hell of a message. The only problem is we all know that this is not very practical. Missing a day of work for some people is just not an option so therefore we would lose a lot of support.
